Like the desert tortoise, our bagels were one of the most elusive creatures of the Mojave Desert. They appeared very occasionally. And like the Gopherus agassizii, they wanted for no fanfare or crowd. In fact, they were a secret best kept quiet. We loved baking bagels for you.
